Harvest Completed 10/17
We completed our harvest on Wednesday and owe a huge thanks to all the friends, family, wine club members who were here to help. Couldn’t do it without you all and we so appreciate you. We picked and hauled a little over 5 tons of fruit! The fruit looked and tasted excellent, 2012 will be a terrific vintage…just wait!
Wendy’s Harvest Photos – Having Fun!
A few more photos from wine club member, Wendy. Lots of work but no shortage of fun to go with it!
Harvest 2012 at Sweet Earth
We started harvest yesterday with a crew of 20+ wine club members, family and friends. We brought in several tons of beautiful fruit and have a few tons more to pick yet. 2012 is yielding a great crop in the valley…looking forward to a most delicious vintage! A huge shout of THANKS to all who helped and to Michele for her delicious lunch!

Great job on photos, Christie!
Harvest 2012!
The time has arrived! We’re harvesting Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris on Thursday, Oct. 11! We’ll probably pick some on Sunday as well, depending on weather. Wine club folks who are interested in harvest need to contact Nancy or Phil if they want to come help. The pre Harvest Party for Wine Club members on Sunday was a huge success! About 150 Sweet Earthlings converged at the vineyard for food, music, fine wine and fabulous company. Photos from the party posted here were mostly taken by John Flannigan unless otherwise noted!
Bottling Day for Sweet Earth
We bottled our 2011 Estate Pinot Noir today, along with a barrel each of 2011 Reserve and 2011 Barrel Select. HMMMMMM! Watch for release of our 2010 Reserve later this fall.
Color in the Vineyard
It’s not just the quilts adding color to the vineyard at Sweet Earth. What a difference a few days makes! Grapes are doing what they should, forecast is fabulous…looks to be a fine year for our Willamette Valley Pinot here in the Monroe hills.
